Micro U04 - U07

The emphasis is totally on fun and participation. It is a co-ed intramural program run entirely within our Club. Parents serve as coaches and referees. There are only three players from each team on the field during games with no goalkeepers, so everyone is involved. The team size is 5 - 7 players to ensure players are getting lots of ball time. Fields are small & playing time is equal. SPRING: The practices can begin at the beginning of April. There are six games on consecutive Saturdays starting in mid-April. The volunteer coach sets practices. All games are held at Explorer Middle School. Games are Saturday mornings and usually start at 8:30, 9:30, or 10:30 AM. The cost of the micro spring season is $60. This includes a player jersey, all game and practice fields, coaches' equipment, and administration fees. FALL: The practices can begin at the end of August. Seven games on consecutive Saturdays start on the second Saturday after Labor Day. Practices are set by the volunteer coach, MYSC hosts “Friday Night Lights,” clinic-style practice sessions, and games at Explorer Middle School. Games are Saturday mornings, usually starting at 8:30, 9:30, or 10:30 AM. The cost of the micro fall season is $95. Select U10-U19

Mukilteo Youth Soccer Club is bringing back our competitive soccer program. This program will allow players to compete at a higher level in the competitive league at a much lower cost than other programs.

The competitive season is longer than the normal MYSC Recreational season. Practices will start in June or July. Teams will play tournaments in either July or August. Coaches will notify you very early so you can plan your summer vacations. The regular season starts the weekend after Labor Day weekend and goes to 12 games ending mid-December. Teams that CHOOSE to enter the State Championship will continue to play and practice off and on until late February or after being eliminated from the tournament.

We will have tryouts on May 21st & 22nd. We will open registration for tryouts on February 1st. Tryouts are FREE!! If your child does not make a competitive team, they can still play for MYSC Recreational like last year. Why do you need to register? So we know if we will have enough players to field a team. We have coaches that many of you know already, and they are ready to go. Tryouts will be a 2-day event. We are still working on our final budget, but the cost should be under $800 for a season.
