Fall Soccer 

Fall registration opens on May 1, at 5 PM. Players that register in May receive an early bird discount of $15 and are guaranteed a spot on their previous fall’s team. After teams are formed, the coach will notify you in late summer when and where practices will be held. It is up to the coach when he/she begins practices. Micro players typically do not begin practices as early as the Mod/Youth teams. 

Games are scheduled for either Saturday or Sunday based on age groups. The fall season is 7-10 weeks of games, depending on the age group.

  • Select the appropriate division for your child, answer all the questions, and acknowledge all waivers.

Team Assignment

You can list a buddy or coach request when you complete the registration. We will try hard to honor your requests, but we have defined roster sizes. Players are placed on teams based on their birth year. Returning players that played up the previous year are “grandfathered” in. If your child is on a returning team as a play-up player, you must register him/her based on his/her birth year. Once registered, our registrar will manually move the player to his/her returning team. Coaches will contact their assigned players by July 15th. 

Uniforms

All players will receive some form of uniform. Micros ages U4-U7 will receive a jersey. All others will receive a full uniform kit (Jersey, Shorts, Socks). All players must wear shin guards and athletic cleats to all practices and games. It is also helpful if players bring their soccer ball and a water bottle with their name on it.

Practices 

Each coach chooses his/her practice days, times, and locations. Practices are held at various Mukilteo School District fields. (Depending on field availability)

Game Schedule

The fall soccer season will consist of seven to ten games. The first games are tentatively scheduled for the weekend after Labor Day. Game times will vary depending on field availability. Games are scheduled for either Saturday or Sunday based on age groups. The fall season is 7-10 weeks of games, depending on the age group.


Spring Soccer 

Registration will be available at our club’s website beginning in February, and all registration is done online.  
• Spring soccer is offered for U4-U16 players.
• Your child will play in the age group based on his/her birth year. Please take a few minutes to read the information below and go to www.mysc.org for registration beginning in February.

All players and coaches must register for spring soccer. The first games are tentatively scheduled for mid-April, with six games in the season. All games are played on Saturdays, with the possibility of Sunday games if needed (based on field availability).

SEASON INFORMATION: 

Micro co-ed & U8–U16 boys and girls 

Our spring season is much less intensive than our fall program. It is designed to give kids an extra opportunity to get touches on the ball and have fun. The season includes six games on Saturdays. Coaches can practice during the week (1 or 2), but the focus is getting kids to play soccer.  (Note: There must be four or more U15 and four or more U16 teams to keep these age groups. Full refunds will be granted if North Sound Rec League cannot field enough teams for these age groups.)

Most players will have their uniforms from the previous fall soccer season. If you want to purchase a uniform,  MYSC has a limited supply and will be available in early April (date, time, and location TBD)—$10 for the jersey, $10 for the shorts, and $5 for the pair of socks. If you choose not to purchase a jersey, your U8-U16  player can wear any green t-shirt he/she already owns. If your child is in the micro division, he/she will be supplied with a jersey. Cleats and shin guards must be worn at all practices and games.
